Description
Strategic Content Specialist
Qualified candidate collaborates with professional strategy, competitive intelligence and market research staff to organize complex data into insightful conclusions that will drive business decisions; qualified candidate serves as a communication expert in synthesizing data, creating storylines in strategy presentations for executive review; translates key strategic themes and messages into creative presentation form; ensures that visual messages and written/audio messages support one another.
Job Responsibilities:
* Organizing and synthesizing complex data used as input for strategy (input data includes market research, market analysis, market research, internal analysis, etc.)
* Developing and creating strategy presentations
* Assisting with overall communication strategy
* Writing/editing whitepapers
* Writing/editing/proofreading other strategy documents as needed
* Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred in Journalism, Marketing Communications, Business Administration, Humanities, or related area
* Minimum 5 years of professional experience; financial services or other business strategy experience preferred (teaching experience at collegiate level a plus)
* Ability to organize complex data into insightful conclusions
* Ability to problem solve
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Collaborative individual able to interface with senior executives
* Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Exceptional interpersonal skills: establishing personal and professional relationships among diverse internal and external publics
* Understanding of best practices for designing charts and using PowerPoint
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, PowerPoint, Photoshop and other graphics and/or presentation software
* Basic web skills; design, SharePoint and HTML skills a plus
* Very strong attention to detail
* Fluency with financial concepts a plus
