Performs a variety of specific professional non-complex engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature. Participates on project teams as required and receives close guidance and instruction from more experienced engineers and/or supervisor when working in more complex areas. Engineering activities support both domestic and international products/services.
Will apply knowledge and experience in area of armament weapons systems development to programs managed by the 478 AESW. These include, but are not limited to strategic, business and action planning; technical management, risk management, systems alignment; cycle time; process and productivity improvement; organization assessments; high performance work; leadership systems; performance measures and indicators; and program audits and evaluations.
Required Skills:
Experience as an Armament Engineer is required. Extensive knowledge in weapon separation analysis, weapon testing, test anomaly investigations, internal weapon bay vibroacoustic challenges, and external carriage configurations is required.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in professional engineering and a minimum of 15 years experience in the applicable task area. Required: Armament weapons systems development experience. Required: United States Citizenship.
