Position Overview

The Warehouse Quality and Document Specialist will act as main point person in developing Quality processes, documents and maintaining specialized system data for Warehouse & Distribution Operations. This position will help support Management and enterprise Warehouse locations with these activities. This role will have knowledge of warehouse activities including but not limited to incoming material receipt and inspection, inventory cycle counting, SAP inventory management & Extended Warehouse Management, internal inventory requests, shipping, receiving, and distribution of goods and supplies. This role is highly cross-functional and is responsible for supporting quality and system directives to maintain the integrity of warehouse operations.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in and or lead the Change Control processes, coordinate activities across departments, and monitor change controls initiated by the Warehouse and Distribution teams.
  • Work with Logistics Quality Compliance Leader to ensure the proper auditing and creation of all warehouse SOP's, WI's, Forms, and Job Aides.
  • Acts as point person for MSN Warehouse & Distribution Team in creation of quality documents, KPIs, and System Enhancements including but not limited to Receiving Documentation, EWM, ServiceNow, & Lab systems updates.
  • Act as point person in the development of warehouse related packaging projects related to process creation and documentation.
  • Assist in FDA & BSI audits for the warehouse team.
  • Remain current on all warehouse policies and procedures through training and audits of policies and processes for receiving, inspection, and verification of incoming materials.
  • Support warehouse operations, as applicable.
  • Help to identify process improvements and manage driving changes that lead to productivity and cost savings.
  • Ability to accurately follow procedures.

  • Ability to work nights and/or weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for approximately 10% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand/arm; reach above shoulder height.
  • Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
  • Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
  • Ability to comply with any applicable personal protective equipment requirements.
  • Ability and means to travel between Madison locations.
  • Ability to travel 10% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, Logistics, Business or related field; or Associates degree and2 years of warehouse operations experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in Warehouse Operations.
  • 2+ year of experience with Warehouse Management/ERP & Quality systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an operations role in a similar capacity.
  • Experience in a biotech manufacturing environment, preferably in a GMP and/or ISO13485 environment.

Salary Range:

$70,000.00 - $112,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - CA - Redwood City on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
