Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking a Course Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology Civil Engineering School (AFIT/CE) at WPAFB, OH.

AFIT/CE is the Air Force's sole provider of professional continuing education courses in the area of civil engineering. With more than 70 courses and seminars, the school plans, develops, and conducts resident and distance learning courses and programs to satisfy the professional continuing educational needs of civil engineer customers from the Air Force, DoD, and other federal agencies. More than 5,500 students receive education from AFIT/CE each year.

The school currently offers Air Force courses ranging in length from two days to 12 weeks in the disciplines of technical civil engineer courses, environmental, engineering management, and housing. It is also the leader in distance and blended learning education for the civil engineering workforce, providing the tools, skills, and abilities to manage the entire spectrum of a civil engineering expertise through various media and forums.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below
    Responsible for managing enrollments, creating attendance rosters, producing graduation certificates, fulfilling transcript requests, and otherwise serving as the AFIT/CE registrar.
  • Manage student enrollments in the LMS and troubleshoot and resolve any student access issues with the LMS.
  • Ensure that any course completion records necessary for system access authorization are provided to the responsible authorities upon course completion and when requested.
  • Handle any other registration or course management related issues which present themselves during the development and deployment of courses.
  • Manage all technical aspects of learning projects for the entire life cycle of the product and assistance faculty with LMS administration.

    Assist with the development of live and blended courses and will provide technical assistance to faculty in the conversion of lesson content to host on the LMS.

    Provide technology expertise to faculty and staff related to posting, maintaining, linking, structuring, managing, and updating content on the applicable LMS.

Education, Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to have and maintain eligibility for a Common Access Card (CAC), including favorable completion of a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) investigation.
  • Five (5) years of experience in education management and a bachelor's degree in an education or management field.
  • BA/BS, ten years of experience in the LMS technical/professional discipline being performed, three of which must be in the DoD
  • OR, 15 years of LMS directly related experience, five of which must be in the DoD.
  • Proficient with Learning Management Systems to include Canvas.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Applications and Adobe Acrobat Professional, and LMS systems.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and expertly (in English) in both verbal and written forms concerning administrative, and LMS technical subject matters.
  • Have familiarity with DOD curriculum development, training, and education methodologies.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • May be required to lift 50 lbs.
  • May be required to travel within the organizational geographic area of responsibility
