LinQuest is seeking a talented Model Based Systems Engineer to join our team in Beavercreek, OH. US citizenship and an active/current DoD Secret clearance is required.

As a Model Based Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization by leveraging your knowledge of Cameo to contribute to cutting-edge projects. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and enhancement of complex systems ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in Cameo to create and maintain detailed system architectures and models.
  • Work within a team of analysts and data engineers to import/export data from Cameo, streamlining processes and improving management and access to data contained within MBSE tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze complex system requirements and provide innovative solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to gather and refine system modeling requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Cameo techniques and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of Systems Engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Cameo for system modeling.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and address complex challenges.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new software applications.
  • US Citizenship.
  • DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Well-practiced capability using SysML or UML for systems development and experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo, SparxEA, Rhapsody, etc.
  • Experience with SysML or UML
  • Familiarity with SysML 2.0
  • Knowledge of digital engineering initiatives within the DoD
  • Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with MBSE integration with MS&A toolsets like MATLAB/Simulink
  • Previous involvement in Digital Engineering transformation initiatives
  • Experience executing conceptual design and complex modeling, simulation, and analysis
