Description
The Flight Simulator Technician II Maintains, Troubleshoots and repairs the flight simulators & associated Equipment.
- Perform repairs of digital / analog circuity
- Visual system/displays repair & alignments
- Hydraulic/pneumatic systems
- Off equipment bench repair to component level
- Assist/Run FAA quality test guide tests/Mark up
- Accomplish post flights/pre-flights
- Performs simultor preventative maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of computer programming
- High School Diploma / GED
- Basic understanding of electronic principles, test equipment, soldering techniques and computer systems
- Must have two (2) years, hands on experience working on simulators or in an electronics / mechanical repair type field.
- Ability to lift 75lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two (2) year degree in electronics, equivalent vocational training, or military training.
