Are you a creative, passionate, and results-driven student interested in policy and advocacy? The AARP Florida Advocacy Team is looking for you! We are looking for a policy and advocacy intern who is excited about working to improve the lives of people as they age and enhance opportunities for future generations. You will receive first-hand knowledge of how AARP develops and conveys its message to almost 38 million members across the nation and nearly 3 million AARP members in Florida. AARP Florida is committed to your ongoing learning and development, and we will challenge you to think and work innovatively on real-world projects. This paid internship has an anticipated start date of Summer 2024, with the possibility of extending additional semesters.

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)
AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly range is $18 for undergraduates, $21 for graduate students, $28 for Ph.D. candidates. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
