Position Summary:
The Senior Category Manager for Travel & Entertainment, Fleet and other indirect categories is a key role within our organization, and we are looking for a candidate who can drive efficiency and cost savings while ensuring high-quality service.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Category Manager to oversee T&E (Travel & Entertainment), Fleet and potential other indirect categories, which may include, but not limited to Marketing, IT, Facilities, MRO, Consulting. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in category management to join our team. If you have the skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.


Work You'll Do:
* Develop and implement category strategies for T&E, Fleet and other indirect categories aligning with the company's overall business strategy.
* Lead the sourcing process, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management successfully incorporating best practices and industry standards.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure the procurement process meets their business requirements.
* Monitor market trends and analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to contract terms.
* Oversee risk management within the indirect categories, identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies.
* Collaborate with other departments to integrate procurement with business systems and processes.
* Develop and manage budgets for the categories, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
* Lead and coach junior associates and foster a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.

Team:

Global Supply Chain Management, Indirect Procurement

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
* Proven experience of 8 years minimum in category management
* Strong negotiation skills & experience in contract management
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data & market trends
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage & motivate a team.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Knowledge of procurement systems and processes, & relevant regulatory requirements.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously & meet deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify & implement effective solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience preferably in Travel & Entertainment category management

* Master's degree or relevant certification would be an advantage.
* Experience preferably in Travel & Entertainment
