Accountability:

As a spindle repair technician, you will be tasked with rebuilding high-quality Machine tool spindles for customers in the manufacturing industry. You will find yourself surrounded by high-quality tooling, a state-of-the-art facility, and instructional leadership. Working alongside highly skilled staff, the open line of communication underscores the team-work atmosphere throughout the company.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assemble and repair machine tool spindles
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems of machine tool spindles
  • Disassemble and write clear and concise reports for each job
  • Use Microsoft Excel to place parts orders
  • Maintain testing equipment
  • Keep a clean and safe work Environment
  • Follow Check sheets to build spindles back to OEM specifications

Education/Certification:

  • Mechanical Aptitude test
  • 2 years in a mechanical field
  • 2-year degree in mechanical field preferred

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Mechanical Aptitude

  • Safety Minded

Qualifications

Education
Technical/other training (preferred)
High School (required)

Experience
2 years: Previous work in a mechanical field (preferred)
