Position Overview

The Health Information Technology (HIT) Marketing Senior Manager role will be responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of identified tactics to engage health system leader customers in leveraging HIT capabilities aligned to the overall health systems brand marketing strategies. This role will support our health systems strategy, including screening, precision oncology and pipeline efforts. This individual will be responsible for building and launching collateral, assets and solutions to be used in promotion to support the HIT Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), Screening SAMs, Precision Oncology (PO) SAMs, and other high priority HIT initiatives.

In addition to execution of our annual tactical plan, this individual will attend HIT-focused industry events to stay up-to-date on the market and the core challenges our Health System customers are facing to inform our overarching Health Information Technology strategy. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert on HIT and through internal partnerships, will aim to incorporate and strengthen our reach of HIT through on-market and pipeline products.

Essential Duties

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Willingness to quickly become a subject matter expert on the current and projected healthcare HIT landscape as it relates to health systems and oncology networks with the ability to translate this knowledge through project specific support into strategy and solutions.
  • Maintain understanding of the HIT marketplace and HIT systems used by key accounts/health systems and have the ability to learn and grow from a knowledge base perspective in this area.
  • Collaborate across multiple internal and external teams to sponsor/serve as a change agent internally around health systems and HIT. Establish effective ways of working with cross-functional business partners. Effective collaboration is important to ensuring development and execution of customer needs and resources.
  • Partner with the broader Health Systems marketing team to translate market trends into relevant market/customer resources, think outside-the-box, and create disruptive solutions
  • Execute personal promotion HIT marketing and communications tactics to support the brand goals with regard to health system leaders.
  • Partner with Training team to launch new assets, identify topics aligned to brand and HIT strategy to train on new trends, new technology, and broader health systems/organized customer trends.
  • Drive multiple HIT-focused projects from ideation through to execution and business impact assessment.
  • Lead material review committee meetings for approval of promotional assets.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed and organized manner using excellent planning and organizational skills, proactively managing and prioritizing strategies, initiatives, and workload in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Coordinate the work of multiple external vendors and internal departments including Agency Partners, Marketing, Legal, Regulatory, Corporate Compliance, and IT.
  • Support tactical planning for the Health Systems personal promotion approach for Cologuard, ensuring the commercial strategies, product positioning, and messaging are effectively integrated into the personal promotional tactics and assets.
  • Report on and analyze performance metrics to determine the efficacy of HIT initiatives.
  • Possess strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.

  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to travel 20% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Marketing, Business Administration or related field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 7+ years of experience in health information technology, marketing, or commercial field.
  • Demonstrated outstanding marketing acumen.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Healthcare, HIT field, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • Experience with digital health, health systems, HIT, and population health management (PHM) companies.
  • Strong IT acumen and knowledge of HIT platforms and applications.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of how HIT is currently leveraged in US market and within health systems.
  • Marketing experience across Health Systems, oncology systems, clinically integrated networks, accountable care organizations.

Salary Range:

$129,000.00 - $208,000.00

The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
