Education, Training and Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Previous similar repair experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work as a part of a team
  • Good interpersonal and communication (spoken/written) skills; ability to positively motivate and influence people
  • Possess good manual dexterity and be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to learn new repair tasks quickly
  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain a steady output
  • Be able to lift, stoop, bend and perform various other physical activities throughout the day, which may include some heavy lifting at times
  • Good reading and math skills
  • Highly reliable with demonstrated record of accomplishment

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Repair lottery terminal components, both vending and retailer terminals, returned on RMAs
  • Verify repair work by testing each component to ensure it is fully operational
  • Document repair work completed on each component, both on the completed RMA form and for internal Repair Data Base
  • Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Properly store and maintain parts, tools, test equipment and documentation
  • Notify manager when parts need replenished
  • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and meet daily repair goals
  • Flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift as demands increase/decrease

Security Requirements

Submission to, and ability to pass, a thorough pre-employment background check by the required State or District Lottery and Intralot, Inc. is a requirement of employment. A pre-employment drug screening is also a requirement.
