Schedule:

This is a shift position. After you have completed your 90 days training on first shift, you will be assigned to a shift depending on the needs of the business.

  • 1st - 7:00am-3:30pm

  • 2nd - 3:00pm-11:30pm

  • 3rd - 11:00pm-7:30am

Primary Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Shift Manager, the selected candidate will participate in the full life cycle of production within the Polymers department, including responsibility for:

  • Preparation of batches

  • Weighing & staging materials

  • Loading materials from supersacks, 50# bags, drums, pails, totes, etc.

  • Operating chemical reactors and supporting process equipment

  • Monitoring equipment processes

  • Operating pumps, filters, valves, transfer boards, and other assigned equipment

  • Performing quality assurance testing and verifications

  • Managing orders and entering process data through SAP

  • Unloading of bulk tanker trucks to storage tanks

  • Packaging of finished goods

  • Loading of bulk tanker trucks

Minimum Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Strong organizational, math, and reading skills.

  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions in a chemical batch.

  • Ability to communicate technical issues/challenges that aris.

  • Competence in various computer skills.

  • Chemical/Industrial manufacturing plant experience

  • Experience operating from a HMI/PLC

  • Batch work experience

As a Reactor Operator, you are required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb stairs, use hands to remove or lift boxes, stretch and reach with arms extended and stoop. Employees regularly lift up to 50 pounds individually and up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $25/hr.
