The University of Cincinnati/UC Health Timothy Freeman, MD, Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities announces a search for a Behavioral Health Director. Our IDD center is committed to developing its behavioral health services to meet the unique needs of the patient population. Services include psychiatry, psychotherapy, behavioral health care management, community navigation, and behavioral intervention programs.The IDD Center is seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Director to lead these efforts (20% protected time) and provide clinical care to patients within the Center (80% clinical). Applicants can anticipate working collaboratively with colleagues at the University of Cincinnati, UC Health, Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, and state developmental disabilities service programs.This individual will have a faculty appointment with the UC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, and salary and rank will be commensurate with experience.
Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychology (PhD. Or PsyD.).
Licensed Psychologist or licensed eligible in the State of Ohio.
Three (3) years of clinical counseling experience.
Clinical and academic interests in the psychiatric and psychosocial impact of disabilities.
