We are looking for a Sundries Handler who will bring support, organization and above all else, personality to our team. It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to the position.

The notable responsibilities of the Sundries Handler are:

• To deliver and maintain supplies to Flex Pack workstations and the Inbound Dock.
• Perform keyboard transactions to operate core systems, such as Mandate and Sundries Inventory Management software
• Place cartons of sundries (cardboard, hanger bags, etc) on pallet and in storage area
• Unload sundries containers form truck to skid
• Use RF Scanner
• Coordinate and partner with Inbound Clerk concerning sundry shipments received
• Maintain minimal sundries and supply levels in pod and intermediate storage areas
• Move full skids and place in intermediate storage and pods
• Break down skids into units, individual carton amounts or boxes of hangers and place in pods in established quantities
• Equipment operation of pallet rider and pallet jack, lowboy and RC truck
• Analyze LABS and Workload Management reports to determine projected sundries
• Make sure pods are fully stocked
• Maintain established expectancy goals
• Responsible for bailing used plastic from housekeeping at the bailer.

What the Sundries Handler already has:

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse experience is a HUGE BONUS
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, or
• Ability to use a handheld scanner, or
• Experience driving a pallet rider and/or fork truck
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Excellent number correlation
• Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
• Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong team orientation
• Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
• Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly
• Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.
