InGenesis is currently seeking a Registered Nurse / RN to work with our client. In this role, you will provide general nursing care to patients in a correctional patient population.

Job Duties

* Provide professional nursing care.

* Observe symptoms, reactions, and progress.

* Administer medications.

* Provide immediate medical attention to emergencies.

* Perform specialized procedures.

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care.

* Perform administrative and clerical tasks.

* Serve as liaison with others in the organization.

* Oversees 'code blue' team and directs health care staff (hospital aides & LPNs) assigned to the area.

* Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

* Current Registered Nurse / RN license in the state of Ohio.

* Biennial renewal of licensure as a registered nurse.

* Current immunizations.

* Current BLS certification.
